Titanium unique advantages of material properties
Low Density, High Specific Strength
The density of titanium plates is about 4.5g/cm³, which is only about half that of steel. However, its strength is similar to that of steel, and its specific strength (the ratio of strength to density) is higher. This allows it to provide good structural strength while reducing weight.
Excellent Corrosion Resistance
Titanium easily forms a dense oxide layer when it combines with oxygen in the air. This oxide layer prevents further oxidation and corrosion of the titanium inside, giving it excellent resistance to a variety of strong acids, strong alkalis, and seawater.
High and Low-Temperature Resistance
Titanium plates maintain good strength and mechanical properties across a wide temperature range of -253°C to 500°C, making them suitable for extreme temperature environments.
Good Biocompatibility
Titanium plates do not cause rejection reactions in the human body, and are widely used in the medical field to manufacture artificial joints, dental implants, and other medical devices.
Non-Magnetic
Titanium plates are non-magnetic, making them uniquely advantageous in environments with strict magnetic requirements, such as medical magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment and electronic instruments.
Titanium unique advantages of material properties
Remarkable Low Density: The density of titanium alloy is about 4.51g/cm³, only 57% of that of steel (7.8 g/cm³), significantly reducing weight for the same volume.
Exceptional High Specific Strength: The ratio of tensile strength (≥895 MPa) to density far exceeds that of stainless steel and aluminum alloys, making it ideal for weight-sensitive applications, such as aircraft structures and drone components, where superior structural integrity is required without added bulk.
(Ultimate Tensile Strength, UTS): 895~930 MPa
(Yield Strength, 0.2% offset): 825~869 MPa
(Elongation): Approximately 10%~15%
After Solution Treatment and Aging:
Through advanced heat treatment (such asβ/beta annealing + aging), the tensile strength can be further increased to 1000~1100 MPa, though the elongation slightly decreases (6%~10%).
Outstanding Fatigue Strength:
Performs excellently under cyclic loading, making it especially suitable for vibrating environments like engine components, where resistance to repeated stress is paramount for long-term durability.

01
Aerospace Field
Thanks to their exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, titanium plates are vital for critical aerospace components like aircraft fuselages and engine parts. They not only contribute to significant weight reduction but also ensure superior structural integrity. Their outstanding high-temperature resistance further solidifies their role as an ideal material for spacecraft thermal protection systems.

01
Medical Field
Renowned for their excellent biocompatibility and corrosion resistance, titanium plates are extensively utilized in the manufacture of medical devices. This includes artificial joints, dental implants, and fracture fixation plates, guaranteeing the long-term stability and safety of implants within the human body.

01
Chemical Industry
Titanium's robust resistance to various strong acids and alkalis makes it an ideal material for chemical processing equipment, such as reactors, heat exchangers, and pipelines. It demonstrates exceptional durability even in harsh environments like seawater desalination and oil extraction, where other materials would quickly degrade.

01
Electronics Field
With their good conductivity and electromagnetic interference (EMI) resistance, titanium plates are employed in the production of electronic device enclosures, heat sinks, and circuit board components. They also play a crucial role in semiconductor manufacturing processes, including vacuum coating and etching.

01
Construction Field
The corrosion resistance and inherent aesthetic appeal of titanium plates make them a preferred choice for building exteriors, roofing, and curtain walls. Prominent architectural designs often feature titanium plate facades, which not only elevate the building's overall beauty but also significantly extend its lifespan due to titanium's durability.
