By utilizing cold heading and hot forging techniques, we ensure the grain structure of the titanium alloy flows continuously along the thread profile, significantly increasing fatigue resistance. Our state-of-the-art testing facility includes optical spectrum analyzers, tensile testers, hardness testers, and digital projection systems to verify micro-dimensions.

Understanding Titanium Grades in Fastener Manufacturing
When selecting fasteners from a professional titanium bolt factory, understanding material grades is essential. Grade 2 and Grade 5 are the most common alloys utilized. Grade 2 is commercially pure titanium, offering outstanding corrosion resistance and excellent formability, ideal for chemical processing and marine environments. Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) is an alpha-beta alloy, containing 6% aluminum and 4% vanadium. It provides a phenomenal strength-to-weight ratio, with a tensile strength exceeding 895 MPa, making it the preferred choice for aerospace, motorsport, and defense applications.
The Thread Rolling Process vs. Thread Cutting
At BJCJTi, we employ state-of-the-art thread rolling machinery rather than simple metal cutting. Thread rolling uses hardened steel dies to plastically deform the titanium grain structure, molding it into shape. Unlike cutting, which severs the natural grain flow lines of the metal, rolling compresses the grain structure. This increases fatigue limit, surface finish quality, and shear resistance, which is critical for high-stress bolts used in automotive engines and aerospace hulls.
